Actuator note

The HE400VG on the PACCAR MX13 requires dealer-level software to pair the electronic actuator to the turbo body. If you order the turbo without actuator, the existing actuator must be transferred and re-paired using PACCAR software. Consider ordering a complete turbo with pre-paired actuator if you do not have access to the pairing software.

Installation

  • Turbo without actuator. Transfer existing actuator and re-pair via PACCAR software.
  • Replace exhaust manifold and oil drain gaskets (included).
  • Flush oil feed line. Prime turbo before startup.
  • Verify VGT tracking through ECM.
